Day 1. Yangon Arrival

Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by our well-experienced guide. Transfer to your hotel. Enjoy Welcome Buffet Dinner at Karaweik Palace Restaurant with Traditional Cultural Show. Overnight at the hotel in Yangon.

Day 02. Yangon - Golden Rock (Kyaikhtiyo)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Kyaikhtiyo (The Miracle of Golden Rock) a huge boulder which maintains its precarious balance due to a precisely placed Buddha hair in the stupa. On the way you can visit an ancient capital Bago. The places to see in Bago are Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda which is like Shwedagon in Yangon at glance and the highest Pagoda in Myanmar, Kyakhatwine Monastery, one may observe over 600 student monks having lunch under the way of Buddha’s guidance. After visit continue to Kyaikhtiyo. Arrive Kin Pun base camp, proceed to upper staging point. It takes one hour to the upper staging point by the open truck which is uncomfortable. It’s one hour walk up a steep path which ascends approximately 500m to the Golden Rock. If you don’t want to climb, you can sit back and be carried in sedan chairs by four porters. Enjoy the beautiful sunset at Golden Rock Pagoda. Return to hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Golden Rock.

Day 03. Golden Rock (Kyaikhtiyo) - Bago - Yangon

On your way back to Yangon you can visit some more places in Bago such as: Shwethalyaung Pagoda 55 meters long and 16 meters high reclining Buddha, Kanbawzathardi Palace the famous palace of King Bayinnaung (1551-1581 A.D.) is being extensively excavated and some buildings are being rebuit, Kyeik Pun, Four-sided Pagoda built by King Dhamma Zedi in 1476 A.D, Htauk Kyant War Cemetery maintained by the common wealth War Graves Commission. Overnight at the hotel in Yangon.

Day 04. Yangon City Tour & Departure

In the morning, visit to the most famous Shwedagone Pagoda (is the also known to the Buddhist world as the first pagoda on earth), "Chaukhtathgyi Pagoda" it is the fourth largest colossal reclining image in Myanmar and 67m long. Shopping to some shopping malls (Bogyok Market is closed). (If time permit) visit to Kyauktawgyi Pagoda before your departure. It is also known as Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image at Minn Dhamma Hill, there is an Elephant house where the three white elephants are kept. And then, you will be transferred to Yangon International airport for your return international departure flight.
