Yangon – Sittwe – Mrauk U – Yangon (5 Days / 4 Nights)

Day 01 Yangon - Sittwe (-/L/D)

Transfer to the airport. When you arrive at Sittwe airport, we will transfer you to the hotel. And visit some interesting places such as Fish Market, some old monasteries and pagodas and sittwe view point for sunset.

Day 02 Sittwe – Mrauk U (B/L/D)

Transfer to the jetty. By boat from Sittwe to Mrauk U (approx: 5hrs). You will get to Mrauk U in the evening you can walk around in a small little town, founded in 1433AD by King Minsawmon it lies on the rocky plain between the Laymyo and Kaladan River. The hill around the town stood as the natural defense line.

Day 03 Mrauk U (B/L/D)

Sightseeing in Mrauk U.
Visit Koe Thaung Temple, one of the Mrauk U highlights which means shrine of 90,000 images, Lat Say Kan Lake, Sakkya Man Aung Pagoda erected in 1628. One can walk around the village area, to see the ways of life of the people. And break for lunch. And proceed to Shit Thaung Pagoda, shrine of the 80,000 images completely built of sandstone, Andaw Thein (8-sided pagoda), Dukkan Thein Paya (Ordination Hall), Pitakat Taik (the last remain of the 48 libraries that were in Mrauk U). Sunset at Hari Taung and then back to the hotel.

Day 04 Chin Villages (B/L/D)

After breakfast, by car from Mrauk U to Laymyo jetty and take a boat to visit the Chin Villages (approx: 3hrs). One can visit to see the daily life of remote tribe (Chin tribe woman) with different patterns of tattoo on the face an attractive amber necklaces. Back to the Laymyo jetty. Overnight in Mrauk U.

Day 05 Mrauk U – Sittwe - Yangon (B/L/-)

By boat from Mrauk U to Sittwe. Arriving at Sittwe jetty, transfer to the airport and then fly back to Yangon.
